Loving the new Smoke effects

Huh! Cool! Looks like an SLR snap of a model diorama with a mismanaged F-stop setting. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I really like that DoF effect!

Just finished my first sortie on SP. Couple of things are really nice, glad I downloaded it!

Again, DoF + heat-blur, the AB's are impressive...





And a feature I really, really hope is used on MP - model visibility on NORMAL. You can tell the type when you zoom in, after successfully spotting it before it has to fly into my cockpit to be seen, lol! It is not ridiculously visible, just the right amount better than it was...

Sparrows are absolutely mesmerizing to watch fly out and hit somebody. I'm actually really glad the M2000 will be limited to SARH now, I just hope the motors are smoky enough to see.

now that they got the Hawk T.1A fixed in 1.5, i figured i'd take it out for my first test drive on a prebuilt training mission.

Found an AI Plane doing circles so i formed on him, then decided formation screenshots just aren't as cool as what i could try.

This is the result:


Shortly after that, I crashed into him in mid air and decided to settle for formation screens

starting work on my first P-51D skin for DCS, also the first time doing SPEC layers for well, pretty much anything, anyway, didn't feel like making a new thread, as i probably wont be adding anymore screens until im finished with the skin. My starter template was the bare metal template available in the DCS User Files.

The blue stripe on the bottom is just a reference mark i made to double check the location of what i was marking.




The last two last two, i finished the nose paint. thats as fars as i've gotten. next will be the "nose art" and markings. then the tail.

a Su25 decided to buzz our FARP while Vampire was practicing his combat landings and this happend.. i happend to be in the right place at the right time to catch this

God I love the SAM contrails in 1.5.. Wish they were more persistent though, they disappear within like 30 seconds.

Wouldn't it be cool if they would persist and drift according to the weather?
