Purchased and played a round with Esonub this morning. I got smoked. It's pretty awesome though. Worth the $40 already in my book, so I'm sure by the time it's fully developed it'll prove to be a hell of a deal.

Will the price go up after its out of alpha/early access?

I wouldn't be suprised. I had a blast tonight with Pyro and Tracer. Cant wait for the vehicles to be released.

If anyone here doesn't have Squad and is thinking about getting it - DO IT! Its a GREAT game.

Oh also, if you have a crappy computer like me...don't worry, it runs FINE at mid settings on my rig (AMD 6120, HD 7970, 10gb old-ish RAM).

Stutters a bit when you fire certain weapons the first time, sometimes explosions kill your FPS...sometimes explosions kill your fireteam, too.

I'm kidding, 8/10 now...probably a 10/10 later when they add all the content.

Tried my hand at a little squad leader work.. It's tough. For the first round I think I did alright, I was good about keeping a current rally point and kept the squad together and on mission, but we got a little caught between running between different flags because our teammates friggen lost them before we could finish capping ours. Definitely a role that requires experience.

EDIT: Oh, also Dok has joined the ranks of Squad owners and BuDa will probably do so this weekend as well.

Is Steam a pay-for account? Do i have to pay for Steam & Squad?
