Official 99th: Ticket to Creech
SITREP:
It's 2027. Creech AFB, Nevada, United States.. or what's left of it. The war of 2017 - a war we thought would end all wars, a war fought on our own soil. Well that was 10 years ago. It was just the beginning I guess, because here we are still. This place is a waste land by any standard. Only thing left is a few strips of concrete for runways, and a few blown out buildings. More a home for wild animals if you ask me. Why are we here then? Seems "Uncle Sam" is always sending us to some shit hole in a far away land, to hold on to a strip of dirt the locals don't even want.
This time it's different. This time the shit hole is ours. And it's not just some strip of dirt. The underground complex at Creech is extensive. 50+ years of research and development can be found in the labyrinth under Creech. We must protect the three entrances located at the North, West and East ends of the complex.
Welcome to Creech gentlemen..
- Objective of this mission is to control the 3 zones around Creech AFB.
- Holding 1 zone generates 1 ticket per second. If you hold all 3 zones, you gain 3 tickets per second. Do the math.
- Smoke color indicates zone ownership. Towers around zone indicate zone size. Keep your ground units in the zone to gain credits.
- Zone smoke color will only change every 5 mins. Tickets will be generated regardless of smoke color. (if your in the zone, you get the tickets)
If zone is contested (indicated by ORANGE smoke), no tickets are generated for either side for that zone.
Pretty simple gentlemen, but not simplistic. Holding these zones will not be easy.
RED TASKING:
SUPPLY AND LOGISTICS
Main Objective: Move ground forces to the 3 zones marked with smoke surrounding Creech AFB.
FACTORIES:
Deliver Troops to ORANGE smoke NEAR FARPS - to activate Tank/Artillery Groups. 20 Troops Per Group.
CAS - Clear the zones of enemy ground units.
CAP - Clear the skies over Creech AFB to allow your forces to move in.
ALERT FIGHTER:
Use the Alert Fighter if your base is over run and you cannot take off. This A/C is not allowed to leave our airspace.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: (+/- 5000 Tickets for completion)

I forced a manual driver update to my GTX 680 which improved my card's performance. My GeForce Experience did not update it since November.

Destroying your target(s) now grant +500 tickets to your team, -500 tickets to the enemy team.
Now the strike a/c can have a direct impact on the ticket count.

Game is over too soon, especially if multiple trips deploying weapon systems out in the field.
Might consider doubling or tripling the amount of points to win the map : blue or red.
You create some damn fine, interesting missions, some of the best I have seen to DCS I've been playing the last 4 years. Is why I came over to play with you guys.
I have encountered "runny" somewhere in the past to some squad that also had interesting missions, just cannot remember where... you guys old team-mates?

it's a small tweak, but it will let the map get played more with out the sides needing to be even.

I was with the S77th for awhile, server was out of Tasmania. Made the mistake of calling the server owner an Aussie! (LOL!)
Konkussion (user name) helped me out alot setting up my system and controllers in DCS. Any idea what ever happened to Konkussion? Hurricane Irene hit Richmond, VA (Konkussion-land) a few years ago and I lost touch with him.

Removed some F15's (now only 3) to match RED's 2 x su27's 1xmig29
Added ALERT FIGHTERS for both sides - these are air start, limited fuel, short range missiles. F15/2000 and Su27/2000 respectively.
Added some some sams around groom.
add some other nasties that will reveal themselves when blue reaches 10000 tickets.

There's still about 13 including the alert fighter (3 in the public slots, the rest for the squadrons)

GBU-12s work well. Against the bunkers at Alamo you need the good stuff, try GBU-10s or GBU-31s. You can also laser designate for the M2000's GBU-24.

Awesome, thanks for the tips. I would love to play Laser guy. I just learned how to do that not too long ago so I've been itching to play around with it.
