Flew in yesterday's F-5 vs Mig-21 event hosted by the 104th. F-5 isn't my stongest aircraft... But i put a kill up on the board for the 99th before AAA shot me in the face. LOL

Wish there had been some F99th support in there... but still loads of fun. Video's a little long... i get the kill right at the end.

lol you beat me to the punch by like 30 minutes.. Though I actually had written that part of my weekly review post over 2 hours ago, so I technically covered it first, but was held back by a whole bunch of other, less important stuff.

Congrats man! I saw it on the livestream and I was super pumped.

I'm not much of an F-5 or MiG-21 guy, so it never particularly caught my interest, but on the day of my buddy Esonub was trying to get me to join in because there was room, so I did consider it for a moment. In the past I've posted about such Red Flag events regardless of my personal interest but this one I passed up. In the future I think I will try to make mention of them even if it seems like nobody is interested, it's good to just put it out there and make the option available.

Wish I had known about it, I was home on the day and might well have made space for it.
