I guess I'm one of the few who doesn't really care for the Typhoon. Of course I don't really care for any of the more recent developments either. I prefer the late Cold War time period (70's-80's) and Vietnam. I did get to provide security for a FGR4 that landed with its wheels up on the runway at China Lake... burnt composite was just falling off the airframe.

I'll take a Harrier and a Typhoon any day. Given how many craft they had listed, there was no way in hell, and though I'm not surprised, I'm pretty miffed about not getting an NH-90.

Until someone starts making a 4.5 or 5th gen aircraft to oppose the Typhoon (and it isn't a total sham like Cortex's Superbug), I'm not a fan at all. Would've been much happier waiting longer for that while they work on an NH90.

Looks like they finally decided to be more quiet about their development. I'm just surprised it took so long for them to clam up.
