Wanted to let you guys know i didnt just waste away these last few years, i received this morning an email from the FAA stating ive been accepted to take the AT-SA ( Air Traffic Skills Assessment ) Test for air traffic control entrance exam at the academy! i should be receiving another email to schedule a time and date when to take this exam but im at least one step closer to becoming an air traffic controller

thank you guys. Supposidly its going to be an all new exam, we will see as i have never seen the old exam. regardless, time to start buckling down and pulling the old books back out and studying again. ill keep you guys posted on major updates

well, today was the day, i took the FAA's new ATSA test as they are calling it now. only took 3 hours to do, odd math problems and reading and comprehension type stuff, then the expected, type the number of the airplane on the radar scope to disappear to not cause a collision, fewer aircraft disappearing the better.. then another psychiatric portion similar to the Bio-Q i took a year ago... now i gotta hurry up and wait.. up to 90 days till i get word of weather or not i'm advancing to the next level. i feel decently well about the test, had a few mixups during it as expected but before i knew it, it was all done.
