I am all to excited to see what is possible for the carrier navy of DCS, even if we start with the old bird, the f14 does have a timeframe and if they can perfect traps with the older model, landing ought to be as fun as the mission itself!

Never seen the flood lights come on like that.. Really lights up the deck, doesn't it? So they just do a FOD walk and it's back to business recovering jets?

Yes, if we are doing blue water ops. If we have a divert close by the rest of the jets go there. We would also put up a tanker for the low state birds if needed. It is all situation dependent.
