NEVADA TEST AND TRAINING RANGE MAP FOR DCS WORLD 2
I don't know if that video just didn't show them from the right perspective or something, but they seem like they're all much lower quality than the existing airfields. Like they just painted the existing textures that were part of the ground a little darker and made it more defined. Will have to wait and see how it looks in-game.

Whatever... I was planning on doing some flying again but looks like I'm locked behind yet another paywall.

"Today we will be releasing the next update to DCS World 2.0, version 2.0.4. The primary addition to this update is the inclusion of the Extension Pack for the DCS: NEVADA Test and Training Range map. This extension includes 13 new airfields and several new cities and towns. One of the new airfields is Tonopah Test and Training Range airfield, that was home to the “Red Eagles” flying Russian-developed aircraft and the F-117A “Stealth Fighter” wing. This is a FREE extension pack to owners of the Nevada map. Enjoy!

IMHO, this is the better way to go.
Larger maps > better quality, I say!

Reading is OP I guess. I'll have to go back and look.

I don't get it. It's like a really shitty translation from Russian or something.

Okay, I'm not reading that wrong, am I? Nearly 17 Gigs?
Lol! Maybe that will be finished by tomorrow afternoon. Maybe.

Could be worse...

This means CTLD is broke (you can still move troops).
Any mission that was dependent on a static object being there, is also broke (MOAPA).
I posted a bug report on ED's site.
Does not appear to be happening in 1.5.

lol I need to know what the hell is going on in this GIF... Spewing shit water across a window?
Sweep: Yeah I don't necessarily mind low-res airfields, I'm sure they'll still look nicer than a lot of the ones in Georgia, I'm just thinking "it took them this long, and this is the end product?" And also how do you get an extra 17 GB of map size with that? For 17 GB, I would think Nellis-quality was more likely.
Tracer: CTLD may be a no-go, but now we've got the breathing room to set up a proper, balanced team-vs-team mission. How's about a Nellis vs. Tonopah, fight for a neutral Groom Lake with ground forces holding position on either end of the base, helos drop troops to capture?
