Holy F'n S, they did it. Unless my computer's date & time has screwed up again, which is entirely possible it's done that a couple times recently, they actually released it in November like they said in the newsletter a week ago. Look at the abysmal standard for timeliness they've gotten me to hold them to..

Well enough of that, time to start downloading a 3rd concurrent DCS install.. Who's with me?

Oh yes, it was impossibly slow. Like a steady 7-10 KB/s. Luckily though the torrent thing started working and now I'm getting 120 KB/s. Still not great, but at least it'll finish today.

I assume you mean 2.5 gb, not 25. Because that's just not possible. And I don't have the space for it, so it really isn't possible.

The thought crossed my mind to do something super mean like say it's not a map of your adolescent acne-riddled face so they would never ever need 25 gb of detail, but I thought better of it. (Mostly.)

Fine. If this 1.8 gb ever finishes, I'll see if indeed there's a 25 gb one waiting after it and I'll stand corrected. But you'll probably be waiting at least another hour before that happens.

Same here, I am going to have to pack it in for now, I cannot leave my computer on for two days while I am away. Goodness knows what could happen, lightning strikes, dropped links that make leaving it on all that time pointless, etcetera. Their homebrew torrent downloader really does seem ropey. I am pretty sure we did used to get the option to manage a torrent DL through our own torrent manager, wonder why they stopped that?

In any case, they are going to have to do something about it. It is BAD. I'll try later in the week.
