So they've put up a changelog and are saying they're apparently very close to releasing the 1.5 open beta.. We'll see how accurate that ends up being, but looking at this changelog I think this will be a very welcome update when it does get released. Of course, that all depends on the severity of the bugs they introduce along with it.

There are a lot of good changes in there, especially in terms of item sync. I am slightly dismayed to see no cargo improvements to allow cool CTLD features to once again work with sling load.

Ship sync though will be great. I hope the new graphics perform well on my box

Finally seems to be some movement on this... Knowing ED time, "soon" means years, what is the conversion time for ED's "very soon"?

im not quite sure on the exact conversion rate but i believe "very soon" our time is around a month, and in ED's current rates its around "6 months" and advances at a min. rate of ~2x our time.

Lol! That's it ! It solves the enigma that the ED* devs are not from another country, but another planet in a different gravitaional gradient.

*ED as NOT in Elite Dangerous, which might be understandable to the end of adding some "galactic realism" to waiting for updates.

They ran in to some issue compiling it, but other than that it would be out today. My money is on a release tomorrow.

Still don't know if I'm going to bother downloading a full open beta install for it though. Who wants to lend me some sagely advice on the subject?
