I kinda had a love/meh relationship with this bird as a kid (being that it was out of service by the time I was deemed an adult by the government). It wasn't very attractive compared to F-16s for F-14s but it had one hell of a history. Therefore I respected it tremendously but honestly didn't give it as much attention.
I can't remember who, but I think the A-4 is on one of the 3rd party devs road maps. Which would be great considering the era type aircraft that is coming to DCS (eventually); F-14, A-6, F-4, and A-7. A truly crammed carrier deck lol.
Found this video that spurned this post. Was really taken back about how little space the pilot had.

Oh yeah, I love the A-4. It was simple as a rock but remained astoundingly capable.
The people making one for DCS were those Hoggit guys, I think they called themselves HoggitDev or something.. Haven't heard anything new from them in a long time but they had videos up of working avionics and stuff. Seemed like they were making good progress.
