Information
DCS Simple Radio is now available on our servers!
This is not a forced addition, but a supplement to your gaming experience.
SRS IP: 13.92.248.31
What is Simple Radio?
-Simple Radio is a standalone program (not a plug-in) developed by "ciribob" specifically for DCS. "The Standalone is meant to compliment other VOIP software, like TeamSpeak or Discord, allowing players to use Full Radio voice comms if they want with the eventual goal of the program automatically connecting when connecting to a multiplayer server." - ciribob
-Talking with a large group on Team Speak or Discord can be fun, but at times you may desire less cross talk. Segregation of flight, role, team, and/or GCI communications may all be accomplished via cockpit radio tuning or overlay radio tuning. This, and (optional) raidio effects sounds add alot of depth oto he game play. Providing a more real world feel concerning communications.
-Once initial hot keys and audio source have been set up, simply start SRS and tune to your desired frequency!

-"Toggle Radio Overlay" is a commmon use item. If occupying FC3 aircraft, all radio frequencies will be tuned via the "radio overlay". If occupying a full fidelity aircraft, ingame radio's will be utilized for tuning of SRS frequencies.
*NOTE: in cases such as F-5E, a combination of ingame radio tuning and radio overlay will be needed to ulitlize three SRS comms channels.
Controls
-Radio's 1,2,3 and Common PTT are the only concern. Find three keys/buttons that are not already utilized, and set one for each radio (1,2,3). These keys/buttons will be utilized cycle between radios 1,2, or 3. The "Common PTT" will be the PTT that you use for all SRS communication.
**Notice: with "radio overlay" displayed, select radio (1,2,3). See that there are red and green dots to the right of each channel. The Green dot indicates selected channel. Red is the unselected channel.
