I do a little bit of bouncing just as a volunteer for various fundraiser events that are put on my non-profit organisations around here and so I was wondering how to better deal with difficult people without just taking them down right off the bat; especially when they're drunk out of their minds.
I found this guy, who passed away now but has a lot of material on youtube. It's geared towards policing but I think it can apply anytime that you want someone to comply with you (sales, business, ect).
I find this kind of stuff very interesting, especially since I'm horrible at it. Check it out:

He has more as well, some are about traffic stops but some are more about everyday normal life and even touches on parenting a bit.
I.e. What do you tell your kids about how to deal with teasing/bullies?
