Official 99th – Operation: Pahrump Hump

Pilots – Welcome to Nevada, are you ready to hump it over to Pahrump?

SITUATION

Enemy forces are moving to capture Pahrump to establish staging grounds for a full assault on Vegas. Pahrump is currently defended by a small squad of IFVs and Abrams that are pulling security on our Command Outpost (CP), but they need reinforcements. The CP is located near city center and includes a navigational beacon operating on 315 MHz, modulating AM. Hopefully you like the ode to Full Metal Jacket when tuned in.

The enemy is expected to arrive in Pahrump within the next hour. Therefore, time is critical in bolstering city defenses.

HELO TASKINGS

CTLD functions are available to assist in reinforcing Pahrump defenses.

Helos need to rescue the F99th leadership squadron members from local establishments as they are critical to reinforcements (see briefing images). Bring them back to the Command Post (CP) to help bolster city defenses. When you are near them, they will communicate with you and pop flares.

Major Alphaskoom is trying to get ATC equipment working. Pick him up before he electrocutes himself. Look for him at a power transformer stations along the power lines on the north side of town.

Lt Col Pyromaniac is getting Big Macs for the squadron, but he is unaware of the incoming attack. Get him at a McDees on the northwest side of town.

1st LT Eightbit has been playing that stupid DCS World game too much at the arcade in the north side of town.

Col Mataman’s tack gut truck ran out of gas. You’ll find him at the Exxon station east of bulls.

Lt Col Gabriel is drinking Bud Light at a local pub east of bullseye.

1st LT Vampyre is spending too much of his Navy retirement money at the local Bojangles in the southern part of the city.

1st LT Russ is taking a bath at the local hotel’s pool in the south side of town.

Col TracerFacer does not need any more STDs. Go pick him up at the titty bar on the north side of town.

SEAD and CAS TASKINGS

Support defense of the CP by defending south – southeast of the city where the enemy will be approaching.




Nellis based SEAD and CAS need to support the helos bolstering city defenses. Reports have shown that the enemy has a small unit of attack helicopters. Also, begin hunting the enemy's TECH COMBINES and REPAIR WORKSHOPS. Destroying these facilities will cripple their ability to reinforce their main assault division and ensure victory.

CAP

Enemy CAP forces are unknown at this point, but we have F-15s on standby at Nellis. You may want to be ready to switch to a CAP role if enemy fighters are detected.


WIN CONDITION

Red Forces must not be within City Limits, and their war factories must be destroyed.

Vulnerability fixed for A-10 #4.

I am aware of vulnerability on Mirages, that will be fixed tonight. I have also added one client helo at the CP FARP so rescue ops can kick in right away at mission start, well before enemy AI helos arrive in the AO.

A few more F99th members will be added as well. New rev of mission to be released tonight.

Need some feedback on difficulty. Saw quite a few people rage quitting after getting hit by the SAM slaughter the red side is bringing to town. Mission has not been won yet.

Don't know why Full Metal Jacket is not playing in all A/C. Will look into this.

i haven't played the missions yet, cant wait to get on when everyone is here so we can all play together.
