Ok everyone, I had it working but since i've been back from Iraq and updated DCS and my modules now I'm back to splash and crash. If I delete the saved game files it will start to the main menu but as soon as I go in and change my settings and save everything I Crash.....

On a more serious note, wipe everything (EVERYTHING, including registry and user files) then do a full reinstall, that fixed most of my problems.

haha I put the reactor in the other room. So this is a clean install after I got home last Friday.

I know I've seen it a few times on the ED Forums but from what I remember DCS has some issues with SLI 1080s, or just SLI for that matter.

Not sure that is the issue or helps in anyway but that is the first thing that came to mind when I saw the specs on your rig; dual 1080s cause issues for DCS. I'm just glad you spent the deployment money on PC parts and not something silly like a Motorcycle or Ford Mustang like 99% of the people I went to Iraq with did Welcome home BTW
