emacs.clanwarz.com:1131 works as it points to the same IP or just right click on the ts server and click client connect on the front page

Ah now that you mention that, it might be a good idea for those with connectivity issues to use the emacs address instead.

The ts.f99th.com is a dns alias hosted by the website (which has been having is own load issues.) if godaddy are having problems it could effect the dns alias.

Just a thought..

You may want to look into host gator, IIRC it is much much cheaper then godaddy and less restrictive.

so it looks like the IP address of the TS server changed probably during that maintenance window we had last week, and the DNS alias was pointing at the old IP.

I've updated it and instead of pointing at their IP, I'm pointing at their name instead. Hopefully shouldn't happen again.
