It looks like after 15 plus years amd's catalyst graphics control platform is replaced with claiming to have "huge increase's and performance boost".

my 270x kicks A** already running any game I wanna play on ultra usually with 60 fps. Over 2 years ago I purchased at best buy of all places for under $230. im sure its much cheaper now. I would recommend for someone on a budget. Also note its backed by a lot of power from the CPU, SSD and RAM I'm sure it helps move it along! -Here's a article about the new platform.

Well catalyst wasn't hard to beat. It's been the main factor for me choosing nvidia. This is definately good news, hopefully it's good so that I can at look at that brand again.
