be glad its only a texture file, and not LOD's or 3d models lmao, i've seen some epic stuff that can happen with the wrong LOD names (back when i modded arma 2).

ha, reminds me of the dreaded KA50 paintjob i did awhile back, the entire thing was backwards just about... took awhile to figure that one out.. the SU27 was confusing because whenever i deleted all of the files and only left the LUA file, the game still loaded up the decals and i belive it was the left wing.. details and paint which was confusing to me

With 1.5, going into the LUA and changing "empty" to "empty_ser" seems to have done the trick for the repaints I did a couple nights ago with the Mi-8.

Pretty happy with how it turned out. Wish I could get rid of the engine intake covers, since none of the Finnish Mi-8s I've seen have had them. I do like the IR suppressors though, so screw accuracy. Need to replace the window-panel flare launchers since they didn't have those either.
