Most of the F-99th and shadow, of course! He wasn't too sure about his performance as GCI, but in reality he did a great job, as far as I could see. Weather conditions were bad and at night, and the call off of the strike of the FARP and shift of objective to Maykop, was more than sensible; it was a professional operational abort that saved air-frames in the long run!

Some odd behavior of at least two red helos at Maykop. There seems to be a precedent to using UH-1 AI door gunners from static helos in an attempt to supplement base defenses. First time I ever done seen it. Ineffective tactic, but something to bear in mind during strikes, as it has a certain nuisance value and sows some confusion. I was on the brink of team-foxing Squid in his UH-1, at one point. Glad I asked before pulling the trigger! LOL!

Ya were gonna have to be twice as organized and efficient as last night. But I should be on. It would be really nice to have helo,strike,sead and fighters from the F99th on tonight.

We gotta win it tonight.
