Wicked! That's good to see it works!

Darn it, Squid! I'm missing something. First time I tried this back when the Mirage came out, I couldn't get communications with the tanker. Now, after seeing your screenies, I tried it again and raised the tanker straight off on the UHF, manually tuned. No problems, but then...

1. Why on earth does the tanker start hauling its butt off the moment it clears you for contact? Seems like the worst time to start accelerating when someone's trying to "dock a probe". LOL! I was calling it all sorts of unprintable things!

2. Once I did connect, it just cycled through saying "return pre-contact", "contact", even though I was firmly in the basket. Is there some mysterious valve that needs to be opened before you can take fuel?

Just the same, great fun. I do find the probe and drogue method much easier than the boom method...
