June 19th is the official birthday of the F99th and in keeping with old tradition we are going to be doing pilot of the year again.

The pilot of the year is decided by member votes. PM me your vote and on June 19th I'll count them and announce the winner.

The Pilot of the Year will receive a ribbon on their profile. I know we haven't really gotten around to adding the full suite of awards and medals, but Pilot of the Year is considered to be one of the most prestigious awards because of it's elected nature.


RULES:
-One vote per member
-Non members may not vote
-You may not vote for yourself
-In case of a tie, both winners will receive the award.


I will also mention the 2nd and 3rd runner ups but no awards are granted for those positions.

I only have a handful of votes guys, keep em coming. You don't have to have been a member all year to vote.

I'm sure they're all just taking the time to thoroughly consider and evaluate who is truly most deserving of their vote..

But everyone try to make up your mind by Friday to give runny some time to put the numbers together. Runny's going to be busy Saturday, so don't wait until the last minute and make it more of a hassle for him than it needs to be.

For those who were wondering how this turned out, we do have a winner but it hasn't been announced yet due to a number of factors. At this point the plan is to announce it when I get a proper page set up for it, probably today once I get home.

Got a page set up, but I'm too Joomla-stupid to know how to publish it and give it a spot in the menu bar.. So for now, I'd just like to say

You were this close to winning the whole shebang and that says a hell of a lot when you are competing with the guy who put together most of the website, handles the TS and dedicated servers, and is one of the founding admins that's been a part of this group for over 2 years.

Just wanted to add that I had been under the impression that pyro had won this award last year on the S-77th, but I was put right on that error. It was unfortunate, after all his work organizing events for that particular VS. I remember he got some post of approval, at least, from the Tasmanian Devil man, and I had thought that was the award.

It is sour luck, my friend, but I do give you the round of applause for pilot of that year.
